Pam Foreht: Pam is a Psychological Associate, registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, who has been in practice for over 30 years.
Throughout her career she has developed an expertise in the area of school psychology. She is familiar with and utilizes a wide variety of assessment
tools as well as observation, and direct interviews in order to gather information with the goal of gaining an extensive and accurate understanding of
her clients in order to address and answer their questions and concerns. She creates realistic and effective treatment plans and interventions that
assist the individual in reaching his or her potential.
It is her belief that each client must eventually be his or her own advocate in the pursuit of life goals. It is Pam’s objective to provide people
with the skills and knowledge to empower them to ultimately act with confidence and competence on their own behalf.
The relationship that Pam develops with her clients is very important. Not only does it allow her to obtain all the pertinent information necessary
to create an effective treatment plan, but it also permits her to make that plan a viable and meaningful one.
In addition to operating a private practice, Pam has worked for the Peel District School Board, Toronto District School Board, University of Toronto,
Jewish Vocational Services, Surrey Place Centre, and Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
Garry Campbell: Garry is a skilled therapist with over 30 years of clinical practice. He has a M.A. in Clinical Psychology. He offers individual,
couple, and family counseling expertise with a focus on cognitive therapy. He specializes in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. His clients are all ages,
ranging from young children to adults. Garry’s training and expertise have also been utilized in his role as a Behaviour Consultant with one of the
largest school boards in Ontario. Garry believes in identifying the issues and moving forward to create a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
Lori Houzer: Lori is a Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. Her educational background is varied, including undergraduate studies in History
and a M.A. in English Literature. She obtained her M.S.W. at Smith College (School of Social Work) in Massachusetts. Lori’s practice focuses on anxiety,
depression, stress reduction, eating disorders, school performance, and post-secondary planning. Her clients include children, adolescents, and young
adults. Adolescent girls are her specialty. Lori works closely with the schools that her clients attend in order to create a consistent and supportive
plan for their success.
Norm Cardon: A special education teacher registered with the Ontario College of Teachers, Norm brings over 30 years
experience in education in private, public and Catholic secondary schools. His qualifications and experience include guidance, science, co-operative
education, administration, and special education at the junior, intermediate and senior levels. Norm has completed postgraduate work in the areas of
environmental and distance education. Norm has always been an advocate for students who experience difficulty fitting into the traditional school system.
Since 2002 he has been the educational consultant on an itinerant team of behavior specialists. His mandate is to develop and deliver programming for
at risk students. He has a proven track record in developing alternative credit earning opportunities by encouraging school administrators and their
staff to make effective use of Ministry of Education programs and work together to find creative avenues to meet the specific needs of at-risk students.
Lynn Ianniello: Lynn is a Behavioral Consultant who has over 12 years of experience working with children who display behavioral difficulties, their
families, and the professionals who educate and support them in public schools and residential treatment centers. She has developed an approach to
managing children that challenges them to learn to solve social problems without hiding behind a facade of disrespectful behaviour. The focus of Lynn’s
work is to provide treatment, consultation and training to families, schools, parents, and teachers with the tools needed to successfully challenge
difficult children to develop the problem -solving and self-management skills they need to be successful.
Marcia Ouellet: Marcia is a Child and Youth Counsellor with a Bachelor degree in English Literature. For 20 years she has
been serving youth and their families as they grow. Marcia’s expertise in developing a therapeutic relationship and identifying central issues allows for
an efficient yet gentle transition into the working phase of the interaction. Her experience mosaic continues to evolve in educational settings for two
major school boards, in youth mental wellness programs for the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group and in private family support where she focuses on the
exploration and promotion of personalized success plans.
Myrna Waiser: Myrna has over 30 years of experience as a teacher and administrator at the elementary and high school levels. She has her M.Ed. from OISE and has worked in public as well as private schools in Toronto and the United States. With her knowledge of both the public and private sectors and her years as an administrator, Myrna is able to help parents find the proper school and/or programme for their children’s educational needs. She can help advocate for accommodations and modifications at the child’s school, as well as working with the student to promote self-advocacy skills. When necessary, Myrna will then work with the student on his or her organizational/study skills, leading to the development of learning strategies that will allow the student to work to the maximum of his or her potential.
