OUR PRACTICE

We serve clients from school age through adulthood.
There are many facets to our practice. We specialize and have developed expertise in assessment, consultation, counseling, advocating for students, and supporting social/emotional and behavioral needs.

We work closely with school staff and other professionals to support the needs of the client.

THE TEAM

Pam Foreht

Pam is a Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, who has been in practice for over 30 years. Throughout her career, she has developed an expertise in the area of school psychology. She is familiar with and utilizes a wide variety of assessment tools and observation and direct interviews to gather information to gain an extensive and accurate understanding of her clients to address and answer their questions and concerns. She creates realistic and effective treatment plans and interventions that help the individual reach his or her potential.

She believes that each client must eventually be his or her advocate in the pursuit of life goals. Pam's objective is to provide people with the skills and knowledge to empower them to act with confidence and competence on their behalf ultimately.
The relationship that Pam develops with her clients is very important. Not only does it allow her to obtain all the pertinent information necessary to create an effective treatment plan, but it also permits her to make that plan a viable and meaningful one.

In addition to operating a private practice, Pam has worked for the Peel District School Board, Toronto District School Board, University of Toronto, Jewish Vocational Services, Surrey Place Centre, and Vocational Rehabilitation Services.

Garry Campbell

Garry Campbell

Garry is a skilled and respected therapist with over thirty years of clinical practice. He offers individual, couple, and family counseling expertise with a focus on cognitive behavior therapy. He also specializes in interventions for clients who have experienced traumatic life events. Garry's clients range in ages from children to late adulthood. He believes that each client possesses strengths that can be utilized to foster skill development in addressing challenging situations and emotions. Garry is actively engaged with his clients and assists them by utilizing pragmatic and solution-focused interventions. He believes in identifying the issues and purposefully planning how to move forward to create a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

In addition to maintaining a longstanding and active private practice, Garry's training and expertise have developed through counseling, behavioural assessment, mental health assessment and treatment, consultation/coaching practices, community agency partnering, and professional development delivery and training. He worked as the Co-ordinator of Behavioural Programs at one of the largest public school boards in Canada (Peel District School Board) and has also worked for York University, Thistletown Regional Centre, Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital & North Bay Psychiatric Hospital. He has also provided extensive training/workshops to educators, parents, and therapists, primarily in Ontario and across Canada and the United States.

Jodi Rotman

Jodi is currently completing her Master's of Psychology from The Adler Graduate Professional School. She previously completed her M.Ed. in Developmental Psychology and Education from OISE and her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education from The University of Western Ontario. Jodi has extensive experience working with children and teens in a variety of settings. She provides comprehensive psychoeducational assessments focusing on learning, attentional challenges, developmental disabilities, and behavioral, social, and emotional concerns. Jodi ensures that students walk away from the assessment experience with an in-depth understanding of their learning profile, strengths, and areas of need, along with attainable recommendations to ensure their future success both academically and personally.

Tamara Lazoff

Tamara Lazoff

Tamara is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (B.C.B.A.) who obtained a Master's of Science in Applied Behaviour Analysis and Autism in 2011. She is also a member of the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis. Tamara possesses a strong passion for utilizing evidence-based practices to successfully assess and support children with and without exceptionalities. For the last seven years, she has held a position as a Clinical Director in Toronto while providing ongoing supervision to aspiring Behaviour Analysts, Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analysts, and Registered Behaviour Technicians. Prior to this role, she served as the Director of Clinical Behaviour Services at Geneva Center for Autism. Earlier, Tamara spent over eight years immersed in clinical research of developmental disorders, focusing on longitudinal outcomes of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Throughout this time, she developed specialized expertise in the assessment of Joint Attention and was given the privilege of providing training in this area at multiple clinical research sites across Canada. Also, Tamara has published in peer-reviewed journals, presented research at local and international conferences, and has been an invited presenter at numerous national conferences and organizations.

Louise Shogilev

Louise has been in clinical practice for over 40 years. Her training is extensive, including family and relationship therapy, psychoanalytically based psychotherapy, C.B.T., school consultation, and solution-focused therapy. She integrates all of this into her clinical practice.
She also supervises the practice of other therapists.
